Event Details

This Sunday is Clean Up Australia Day and we would really appreciate your help and do our part in helping with this fantastic cause. Clean Up Australia Day is held on the first Sunday of March every year and encourages people to clean up their local areas. We will be working out the front of the Wildlife Park, cleaning up rubbish along the sides of the road.
The rubbish that we collect, would have otherwise ended up in Berry Creek. It would then travel down the river and into our marine eco-system. This is a very important and worthwhile activity and you will be helping the environment immensely!!!
Last year we were astounded as to how much rubbish we picked up!

TWP Community Involvement Days encourage members of the Darwin and local rural community to actively take part in small projects at the Territory Wildlife Park and to join the community ownership of your wWldlife Park. Activities are scheduled throughout the year between February and December.
