Celebrate Easter at the Waterfront

We’re doubling the Easter fun this Easter long weekend, with an Easter Extravaganza like you have never seen before!

Saturday 3 April | 10am-1pm

The Easter Extravaganza returns in 2021 on Saturday 3 April from 10am-1pm with so much fun for the whole family!
– Join in our Easter Scavenger Hunt, collecting Easter treats and moments for your chance to WIN a Darwin Waterfront Family Membership.
– Explore the new Easter garden maze on the Peninsular Lawns, through carrot gardens, balloon art, bubbles and face painting to find our garden workshops at the centre of the maze. Little gardeners can decorate their own terracotta pot before planting a healthy seedling to take home, all whilst learning about Peter Rabbit’s favourite vegetables.
– Explore our inflatable zone with obstacle courses, ball pits and jumping castles to keep the little one’s bouncing all day!
– Make sure you then visit our brand new Bunny Burrow, now in full air conditioning! Find the Easter Bunny’s new Bunny Burrow on the podium next to Oyster Bar. Here you can enter our colouring-in competition before having your photo taken by Social Playground, now letting you take your very own print out home to display with a little chocolate treat!

Sunday 4 April | 10am-1pm

Make the most of your Easter long weekend by making a splash into the Wave Lagoon or Recreation Lagoon, challenge a friend to the Aqua Park or hire a paddleboard. Explore the parklands and grab a bite at one of the many restaurants trading this Easter long weekend.
