Exciting news alert!!! This year’s πŸ“š National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) will be held @TerritoryWildlifePark

Join Taminmin Library staff – and families all over Australia – for reading of the 2024 selected story “Bowerbird Blues” by Aura Parker.

When : Wednesday, 22 May 2024 at the following times:
🐦Meet at Territory Wildlife Park main station entry: 10.00 am.
πŸš‚ Be ready to depart on train from main station: 10.30 am.
🦜🦩 NSS Storytime presentation commences at the large dome bird aviary: 11:00 am sharp

*Be there early to get your spot on the train, as there is no additional transport for latecomers.
*There is a short walk to the aviary. Should you require assistance to access, please reach out in advance so we can make arrangements.

Entry costs:

* Under 5’s – FREE entry

* Parents & guardians – FREE entry upon sighting of your Territory Wildlife Park annual park pass OR your Taminmin Library membership card (does not apply to other NT library cards).

* Otherwise park entry fees will apply

Bring your own snacks and drinks/water bottle. Hats and sunscreen recommended.

NSS is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association. Every year a picture book, is written and illustrated by talented Australians, and read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day care, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
