🟣♀️ 👣 Walk with us for International Women’s Day on Saturday 4 March. People of all genders, ages and communities are encouraged to be part of this annual event that celebrates the rights and achievements of women everywhere. That’s right, you can walk with us too!
The 2023 theme for this annual event is ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’
✨ Feel free to dress up or vibe out by wearing something purple.
EVENT SCHEDULE
8.30 am – Gather at Civic Centre Courtyard with entertainment, giveaways, Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
9.00 am – Follow the Darwin City Brass Band as we walk through the City Centre streets together finishing in the Parliament House precinct
9.00 to 10.30 am – Information stalls and entertainment
10.30 to 11.30 am – Guest speakers in the airconditioned comfort of Parliament House.
