Community Planting Day & Native Plant Giveaway

The Community is invited to come along and help plant 3000 trees and shrubs at East Point Reserve through the Community Planting day and also take advantage of 2000 native tube stock plants free to Darwin residents through our Native Plant Giveaway program!

The giveaway is for Darwin Residents only, proof of residence will be required. You can take up to 6 per household

Replanting and biodiversity is a top priority for Council, our team will be on deck to discuss City of Darwin’s replanting program, establishing a resilient urban forest, cyclone-resistant tree species and best practice methods for planting.

If you would like to get involved in replanting Darwin, we would love to see you there!

Cold drinks will be provided. Please wear closed-in footwear and remember to bring gloves, sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle. A mobile coffee van will be available on-site for our coffee lovers!
