Brekkie in the Park

Our Brekkie in the Park series offers community members the chance to connect with their local parks and helps promote healthy and active lifestyles.

Each brekkie provides a free breakfast and activities for all to enjoy.

SUNDAY 18 MAY
Gray Community Hall / Harvest Corner
Brekkie provided by PaRBA.
Activities include: Get your face painted and hold some adorable critters thanks to top End critters. There will also be a native plant giveaway, obstacle course and a Storytime session.

SUNDAY 15 JUNE
Woodroffe Park
Brekkie provided by PaRBA.
Activities include: basketball, clay arts and craft, seniors movement and Riding for the Disabled Top End will be bringing their four-legged furry friends for horse rides and petting.

SUNDAY 20 JULY
Phyllis Uren Park, Farrar
Brekkie provided by Palmerston Lions Club.
Activities include: face painting, get moving on Healthy Living NTs mini mover obstacle course, arts and crafts and Riding for the Disabled Top End will be bringing their four-legged furry friends for horse rides and petting. There will also be a native plant giveaway.

SUNDAY 17 AUGUST
Stalwart Park, Johnston
Brekkie provided by Palmerston Lions Club.
Activities include: top end critters encounters, senior movement activities, rainbow canvas crafts and Riding for the Disabled Top End will be bringing their four-legged furry friends for horse rides and petting. Get in quick for out last native plant giveaway before they’re all gone!

All events run from 8am until 10am.

Remember a hat, sunscreen, extra water and a picnic blanket.

Pets (must be kept on a lead and under effective control at all times), scooters, skateboards and bikes all welcome.
