Recently two deaths have had a huge impact on me.
One was a mother of 4 who had participated in one of our Messy Bubs classes, mucking in with her children with a huge smile on her face. The other was a T.V presenter in the UK who I had watched for the last 10 years. She was funny, beautiful and had the most infectious laugh and wicked sense of humour. Both these young women were in their late 30’s.
Both these women decided that they could no longer face the situations they were in and decided to take their own lives. I didn’t know these women but their actions have left such an impact on me that I am heart broken for them and their loved ones. ??
Living in Darwin, away from family and friends, husbands and partners working away a lot leave us very vulnerable and alone. We work tirelessly to raise our tribe which at times is thankless. ?
Messy Bubs would like to invite anyone and everyone to a picnic at the park. We will be setting up our mini soft play package for children under 4 as well as the huge playground for any older kiddies.
• Please Note this is NOT a Messy Play event.
Let’s bring people together. Let’s be kind! Come and join us, bring a picnic and a rug and let’s just start building friendships and your own little community. Who knows…. just one conversation you have on this morning may change someone’s thought process.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Spread the word and I look forward to meeting anyone who fancies joining me. ?
