About Emily Kate

She has always had a love for dance and began her journey 14 years ago when she found bellydancing. She immersed herself in all styles from oriental, folkloric, and fusion. During her 10 years as a bellydancer she taught for two different Adelaide bellydance schools and was part of countless performances on both stage and for functions. She then began her journey into the Latin dance scene with Salsa. Soon after, she discovered Bachata and has trained in all three styles of moderno, sensual, Dominican, as well as ladies styling and she hasn’t looked back since. She has also spent time training in Kizomba with Adelaide’s best, Mutati. Currently they both teach Bachata together every Thursday in Adelaide.
