This obstacle "ninja style" playground is a great addition to the suburb of Malak for nearby families. This obstacle course is a fun way to increase strength and agility. This playground is more suitable for older kids. Depending on your child's gross motor abilities! It is recommended of ages 12 and up, but my 6-year-old really enjoyed trying to tackle some of the activities. Supervision is recommended for young kids. There are monkey bars, ramps to jump off, lots of jumping, swinging, balancing and agility stations.
The playground is set back from the road in the suburbs so not really busy roads nearby, but there are carparks, plus there is a primary school right next to it so School zones apply. There is no shade over the playground, with the Darwin heat it is always better to take a hat and slip slop slap. There is no water bubbler (so make sure you take your own water bottles) and not much seating (unless you sit on the wooden logs).
Unfortunately, no toilets are accessible.
