#BeKind - Picnic and Play

🌈 Back in March, Messy Bubs organised a FREE get together for mums, dads and Bubs at Yanyula park to come together to be kind, make friends and build our village!

💔At the time I explained the story of a mother of 4 children (who had attended Messy Bubs) who had taken her life just before Christmas last year and another young lady who appeared to have everything to live for took her life Valentine’s Day this year.
Both of these suicides absolutely shocked me and made me feel so sad for all, that I wanted to offer something to anyone who may be in need.

#Bekind – Picnic and Play was formed! THEN..
Covid – 19 struck and we had to postpone our get together.

💛So now… it appears with the aftermath of the shock of Covid – 19 and the isolation families must of felt, the losses people had and the anxiety of a threat we’d never dealt with before, I’d say we need to reach out more than ever! Restrictions have been lifted. I wanted to continue the mission of being kind, making friends or even just listening to someone who may need it desperately.

💙We are meeting for a couple of hours in the morning! I will be bring our mini softplay set up for under 3’s. There is a much bigger park there for any older children who you may bring and a sand pit!
Bathrooms are on site.

🙏🏼Many businesses donated wonderful items for a raffle we were organising which will be available again so we can donate the proceeds to Beyond Blue!
