Mainly in the Northern Territory, but run occasional programs in the Kimberley and Argentina and looking at other special ‘out of the way’ destinations.
We have a variety of tours and packages available including; canoeing and trekking for families.
We offer 3 day canoeing trips down the Katherine river as well as 5and 6 day trips on the popular Jatbula trail, Or we have combined adventure packages. Check out all our tours and packages here.
Gecko Canoeing’s Award Winning River Tour Range enables you to experience the Katherine River at its best. Comfortable ‘down stream’ touring, incredible wildlife ‘close ups’ and relaxing camping with chairs and tables and someone to cook and do the dishes for you. Sleep under a blanket of stars and wake to a chorus of birds (and a hot cup of coffee) – we aim to please.
We are a LOCALLY BASED company, proud to have lived and operated in the region for 20+ years. We have a high standard of guiding and often train and support other operators. We are a very personable operation which really focuses on our GUESTS experience in fine detail. We cater for those who wish to really experience the Top End, to get out there and get up close to nature.
