Easter Celebrations

Hop to the Darwin Waterfront on Saturday 11 April 2020 to enjoy the free Easter extravaganza from 9am to 1pm.

Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny will be nestled in their majestic Bunny Burrow, giving children the opportunity to take a photo and get a free chocolate egg and balloon. Photos will be taken by a professional photographer and shared on the Darwin Waterfront Facebook page after the event.

There’ll be plenty of fun for children of all ages with two jumping castles, two water slides and an inflatable obstacle course.

Dance the day away with a live kids’ DJ on the lawns playing festive songs to get you in the Easter spirit.

Hyper the Clown and Jemma the Jester will work their balloon twisting Easter magic and make everything from bunnies, animals and flowers. Yenz Entertainment will bring along her team of festival glitter artists to sprinkle about some magic and also get kids crafting at their sand art station.

Fairy Jill’s Enchanted Entertainment will have a free circus workshop with diabolos, juggling, spinning plates, poi and balance toys as well as a giant bubble play.

There will also be an Easter art and craft stand with plenty of creative fun on the day thanks to The Burning Circus.

Take a splash in the Recreation Lagoon and enjoy floating around on inflatables for the day.

Enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch from the surrounding Waterfront retailers, pack a picnic and settle in for a day jam packed with fun or grab a sausage sizzle and stroll between the festivities.
