Kick off the celebrations for Water Safety Week with Splashfest on Sunday 24th of September from 9am to 1pm at the Darwin Waterfront.

Hosted by MC Amy Hetherington, there will be free entertainment for the whole family including jumping castles, waterslides, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, stilt walkers, giant bubble fun, arts and crafts, kids dj, Boof the Barra and more!

This year Splashfest will also feature an illuminated coral display projected onto the Cinema 360 dome.

There will be information available on water safety along with demonstration by the Lifeguards. Splashfest is a free community event as part of Water Safety Week 2017. Water Safety Week is A Territory Government initiative focusing on creating awareness about keeping ourselves and others safe in, on and around the water.
