Event Details

With the toxic tide of marine plastic pollution devastating oceans and marine wildlife worldwide, Sea Shepherd Australia’s Marine Debris Campaign is proudly going Plastic Free for The Oceans this July.

July has become the month to create awareness of the environmental problems associated with plastics, in particular single-use plastic products.

50% of all plastic produced annually is made into single-use products, used for around 12 minutes on average. A large proportion of these items find their way into our waterways – we want to remove them before they get there, and we need your help.

Would you like to join us and our partners for this event Cafe De La Plage?

If you haven’t already attended one of our monthly beach clean-ups, then now is the perfect time.

Join our movement of ocean warriors and help us #StemtheTide

Meet us:
* Saturday 27th July 2019
* 8.30am – Start
* Casuarina Beach, Darwin, NT.

Meet us – in front of Café De La Plage

Everyone is welcome, please invite your family and friends. By sharing this within your networks, we can maximise our impact.

Don’t forget to wear enclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and bring water in a reusable bottle (no single use plastic bottles please).

If you have reusable gloves, please bring them along.
