This New Year’s Eve the Darwin Waterfront presents an exhilarating line up of free entertainment for the whole family, including two spectacular fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight.
Family fun will commence from 5pm with two Nick Jr.’s PAW Patrol ‘Ready for Action’ shows and a meet & greet, face glitters, balloon twisting and roving entertainment to wow the little ones and young families.
Local artists Josh Wyatt and Max Fredricks will feature along with the incredible DJ duo Hello Bass & Von Lit who will MC and keep the crowd entertained throughout the evening.
From 9:30pm The Choirboys’ Mark Gable, Taxi Ride’s Jason Singh and Australian singer-songwriter Dean Ray will grace the main stage with all of their well-loved tunes, including ‘Run to Paradise’, ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’ and ‘Call It A Day’.
Singer-songwriter, Craig Phillips, will welcome in the New Year after the headline acts with classic alternative and country rock cover songs.
Pack a picnic dinner, blanket and chairs and relax on the lawns for all of the celebrations or grab a bite to eat from one of the food stalls serving delicious offerings. Eskies are welcome, but no glass or alcohol is permitted.
The festivities will continue on New Year’s Day with a free live concert from ‘The Fame Junkies’ band who will perform classics from the 60’s to today’s latest chart topping hits from 12noon to 4pm.
